涂书新博士,教授,博士生导师。1991年获华中农业大学“植物营养”专业农学硕士学位,1999年获浙江大学“生物物理”专业理学博士学位。多次到美国、菲律宾、澳大利亚等国学习和交流,其中2001-2003年在美国佛罗里达大学从事“微量元素生物地球化学”博士后研究。现任湖北省土壤污染修复工程技术研究中心常务副主任。长期从事土壤重金属污染修复和富硒(降镉)优质农产品研究。主持和参加国家、省部和横向课题研究40多项,发表论文100余篇,获得美国和国家发明专利17项,获得省部级以上奖励5项。
